POETRY READING | WATER & BOMBAY

This is a poetic journey exploring the essence of water and its connection to Bombay, at Banganga Tank one of Bombay’s only sweet water sources, despite its proximity to the sea. We read poems by Bombay poets of various languages (English, Marathi, Urdu, Gujarati) and explore how water can be religious, political, gendered, mythological, scientific, and imperative to life.
