POETRY WORKSHOP | MAKING POCKETBOOKS OF POETRY

 “Making Pocketbooks of Poetry” is an interactive, creative, generative writing workshop, where we read minimalist poetry, write five short poems, and compile them into tiny clusters, together. The end product will look like a tiny, ten-page collection of poetry. These pages might appear as chits, secrets in bundled up clothes, writings scribbled onto necklaces, painted over dried leaves, or folded into tiny zines. This workshop aims to expand our notions of what is deemed worthy enough to be poetry, and how everyday objects can be pocketed and kept with us at all times.
